Join us on Thursday September 19, 2024 from 7 p.m. for the Young Researchers' Evening, a captivating event where brilliant young researchers from PSL University will present their work on the theme "Modeling reality"

PSL University is pleased to invite you to the Young Researchers' Evening which will be held on Thursday September 19, 2024 from 7 p.m. This event, under the theme "Modeling reality", will bring together four talented young researchers who will share their innovative work and unique perspectives.

Yuke Xie, specialist in Geosciences and geoengineering at Mines Paris - PSL, will talk to us about "Large-scale stochastic Seismic Imaging using deep generative models".
Joe Kim, expert in Art History at EPHE - PSL, will present his work on "Leonardo da Vinci's construction systems and their reception in modular architecture".
Othmane Zarhali, mathematician at Dauphine - PSL, will address "Multifractal and rough volatility models, link with market microstructure".
Théodore Fontenaille, researcher in energy and process engineering at Mines Paris - PSL, will explain his "Models and tools for the development of micro-heat networks in rural areas".
These short presentations, 15 to 20 minutes each, will be followed by a friendly discussion around a drink, offering a unique opportunity for discussion on the modeling of reality. The objective is to create a warm and interactive atmosphere, conducive to reflection and the sharing of knowledge.
