International relations are an integral part of life at ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ They embody its values and its identity in a profoundly changing international context where it takes commitment to train people who can provide responses to the crises and challenges affecting our societies. ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ is building on the strength of its component members’ wealth of international partnerships to develop close relationships with international generalist universities which share its approach, placing research and innovation at the heart of their missions. Within this group, researchers and students exchange ideas, share experience and develop long-term links.

Vice-rector for Global Jennifer Heurley is a French Doctor specialized in Political geography. Appointed as Senior lecturer by Aix-Marseille University in 2004, she joined the French Ministry of foreign Affairs in 2006. She was first in charge of archaeology and humanities in the European region then she took the head of the scientific cooperation Unit covering all the research fields. In 2010, she was appointed Deputy Director for Research. In 2014, she became Executive international Vice-President of the Institut Pasteur in Paris in charge of the 32 Instituts Pasteur worldwide. She is also one of the five Members of the Higher education and research Group of the National Council for Development and international solidarity (CNDSI) that reports directly to the French Secretary of State for International Development. On September 1st, 2022, she joined ²ÝÁñÂÛ̳ as Vice President for International Relations.
